Update: I was scoring my drywall cuts with a utility knife for years until a guy in Omaha showed me his cordless multi-tool.

My buddy who does tile work said he cracked a corner piece last week using a multi-tool on a small cut. Swears by his manual scorer for anything that needs a clean line.

At a guild meet in St. Louis, a binder told me my use of PVA glue was 'amateur' and that I should only use animal glue. I still think he was wrong.

That binder at the Archon meetup had a point about animal glue. It stays flexible for decades, which PVA just doesn't do over time. Maybe he was rude, but the old school method has real staying power.

Vent: A client in Denver told me my shop drawings were 'too detailed' to build from

Classic, @terry_torres40. Good work gets punished now.

My bathroom tile job turned into a two week project because of one wall

Honestly that "way out of square" wall is just part of the job. Tbh you should always check for that before you even buy the tile. Sounds like poor planning caused the extra time, not the wall itself.

Everyone says to strip the whole panel for a dent, but I tried something different on a 2017 F-150 bedside

Honestly I saw a video where a guy did almost the same thing on a Tacoma. He used a long pry bar through the tail light hole instead of drilling. The big thing he talked about was making sure you seal that access hole up real good after, or you'll get water in there and rust it out from the inside. Your method with the bent tip sounds smarter for getting right on the crease though.
