Update: I was scoring my drywall cuts with a utility knife for years until a guy in Omaha showed me his cordless multi-tool.

He made a perfect cut for an outlet box in about 10 seconds, and I realized I'd been wasting so much time and making dusty messes for no good reason, so has anyone else switched tools for basic cuts?

Old school scoring is way cleaner and more precise, those multi-tools just vibrate the whole wall apart.

My buddy who does tile work said he cracked a corner piece last week using a multi-tool on a small cut. Swears by his manual scorer for anything that needs a clean line.
