Bought it from a guy at a weekend market who claimed it would 'align my water molecules' and after three days of drinking what tasted like muddy puddle water I realized I got scammed, has anyone else fallen for one of those pseudoscience gadgets?

I've been doing a no-till, cover crop heavy garden for about 3 years now. Last spring my neighbor Bill walked over and said my beds looked like a mess, that I was just growing weeds for fun. At first I brushed it off, but then I noticed my tomatoes were actually smaller than his. So I dug into my soil and found the cover crop residue was making it too nitrogen heavy for fruiting plants. I pulled back on the rye and clover mix this year, focused more on buckwheat and soybeans for rotation. My squash finally took off in July. Has anyone else had to totally change their soil strategy after someone called them out on a bad look?

So I'm driving through Denver last summer and my check engine light pops up. I'm freaking out thinking it's something major. I pull into this tiny garage off Colfax and the old mechanic just glances at my dash, doesn't even hook up a scanner. He says tighten your gas cap and drive it for a day, it'll go away. I thought he was brushing me off, didn't believe him at all. But I did it anyway because what else was I gonna do. Sure enough the next morning the light was gone. He was dead right and I felt like an idiot for overthinking it. Has anyone else had a quick fix like that actually work out?

Why does nobody talk about the choice between debunking the moon landing or flat earth first with new people?

I picked starting with the moon landing because the sheer volume of physical evidence, like the 842 pounds of rocks, makes it a quicker win to show how conspiracies fall apart under basic scrutiny, and it worked to get my cousin to at least question his other beliefs after about an hour of talking.
