inEverybody swears by packing cubes but I think they are a waste of space
Man I totally get where you're coming from. Packing cubes just end up being another thing to mess with, you know? I've tried them a few times and every time I'm like why did I even bother. So here's my question: did you try the compression cubes or just the regular ones? Because I think that makes a big difference, the compression ones actually squeeze your clothes down a lot. But even with those, I find they only really work if you're doing a trip where you need a few different outfits and want to keep things separate, otherwise rolling is just simpler. What kind of bags were you using for the cubes?

inMet a guy at the gas station off I-35 who told me his life story while I was trying to fill up
Every house has a different rule you gotta follow" made me laugh because that actually sounds kind of good. My buddy Kevin had something similar happen at a laundromat in Waco. Some lady cornered him by the dryers and spent 20 minutes explaining her screenplay about a zombie outbreak that only affects people who wear Crocs. She had index cards taped to the walls with character arcs on them. Kevin said he just kept nodding and trying to fold his socks.

inI finally stopped using thinning shears on every client after a bad haircut in Denver last month
Reconsider what heavy thinning does to hair as it grows back. Those split ends from thinning shears often show up weeks later and make the cut look messy for months. Have you noticed any long term damage on clients that got thinned out repeatedly?

Wait, swollen caps can mess with the sense circuit? That's wild. Never would have thought a bad cap could cause those kinds of phantom issues.
