Guy at the parts counter in Fort Wayne said he stopped painting bumpers in winter, and I finally get it
I was picking up a gallon of sealer at the store on Coliseum Blvd and the counter guy mentioned he won't spray bumpers once it drops below 60 in his shop, even with the booth heater running. I kind of brushed it off until I fought fisheyes on a Civic bumper twice in December and burned a whole day sanding it back down. He wasn't wrong about the temp swing messing with the flash time either. Anyone else notice their paint acting different in cold shops, or is it just me and my old booth?
