inChasing a ghost key for 6 hours, turned out to be a bent pin
The magnifier part is what gets me, six hours in and I still would have assumed it was the socket. Did you happen to check the bent pin against a datasheet for the exact switch type, or was it just obvious once you saw it? I had a similar issue with a stabilizer wire once, but that only cost me an afternoon.

inHit 500 anime backlog entries and it hit me differently
So you're saying you've got 500 shows rotting on your list just to flex the number? Is that really about enjoying anime or just collecting them like Pokemon cards?

inRoommate used my cast iron as a ashtray, but wait, my landlord's in trouble too
Did he admit to the counter damage before the landlord sees it?

inGave up on a 900 page fantasy epic after the map made no sense
That first map was the thing that broke me too, I remember flipping back and forth like 50 times trying to figure out if the river was the border or the mountain range was, and finally just said forget it. The names were all like "Kralthan" and "Yzzmir" and I couldn't keep any of them straight in my head either. Good on you for putting it down, life's too short to force yourself through something that feels like homework. I've done the same thing with a few "classics" and never felt bad about it, honestly. A 200 page mystery sounds way more fun, at least you know where you stand with a body and a detective lol.
