Took a night shot at the Grand Canyon and it came out looking like a blurry mess

Drove 3 hours to get there right before sunset, set up my tripod, and all my photos came out blurry. I think I had the ISO too high or maybe I bumped the shutter button. Anyone else struggle with getting clear shots in low light at national parks? What settings do you use?

It took me 3 years to realize my camera lens was smudged

I kept getting these blurry photos of my dog at the park near my house. Every time I tried to fix it in editing the pictures still looked off. Last week I finally wiped the lens with my shirt and suddenly everything was crystal clear. Has anyone else spent way too long noticing the obvious fix?

Stop blaming your camera for blur when it's your shutter speed

I used to think my phone camera was just junk because all my indoor shots of my dog came out like a smeary mess. Last week I finally looked up why and realized I was shooting at 1/15th of a second without even knowing it. The camera was fine, I was just moving too slow for the light in my living room. Now I bump the ISO up to 800 and shoot at 1/125th minimum and everything is crisp. I see so many people on here posting pics taken in dim rooms with zero motion blur settings and they think it's the lens. For real, check your shutter speed before you buy a new phone or lens. Has anyone else figured this out late like me? Did it make as big a difference for you?

That overcast day last spring taught me something about using a tripod for blurry shots

I used to just assume my camera was broken when photos came out fuzzy, but after three failed attempts to capture a cardinal at my feeder, I finally realized bumping the shutter speed down a notch and bracing against the doorframe was all it took to get a crisp picture, has anyone else had that moment where the fix was simpler than you thought?

That week I tried to fix my grandmother's old camera

Last Tuesday I dug out my grandma's old Canon AE-1 from 1978 and tried taking pictures around the park on North Avenue. Every single photo came out soft and hazy, I thought the lens was busted for sure. Turns out I just had the focus ring set wrong for most shots, and the viewfinder needed a good cleaning. Has anyone else wasted a whole day on a simple fix like that?
