The bride's brother stepped in front of my shot at a wedding in Boise and I saved it with one setting
I was shooting my cousin's wedding last month at a barn outside Boise and during the first dance the bride's little brother ran right through my frame. My shutter was already slow at 1/60 because the light was dim, so he came out as a smear and I figured the shot was gone. I bumped my ISO from 800 up to 3200 and switched to shutter speed priority at 1/250, which froze everyone on the next pass. Turns out the noise cleans up fine and I would rather have a little grain than a ghost kid in every picture. What do you all set your floor at for indoor events, shutter speed or ISO first?
