The pole behind my house looks like a spider made a nest out of coax and fiber
Honestly, I'm getting real sick of seeing the mess contractors leave on my street's utility poles. The one right behind my fence is the worst. Every time a new service gets run, the old cable just gets cut and left to dangle. Now there's like six different cut ends just hanging there, some of them almost down to head level. It's not just ugly, it's a legit hazard when the wind picks up. Tbh, I end up having to go out with my own ladder and zip-tie the junk up myself so it doesn't whip around. I get that the job is done when the customer has signal, but leaving a public space looking trashed gives us all a bad name. It takes two seconds to coil and secure the slack, come on guys.
