inUnpopular opinion: I see way too many shops using the wrong clear coat flash times
Exactly. Patricia_singh nailed it with the conditions. Saw a shop in Dallas cook a whole hood by baking it in a 90-degree booth but using the book time for 70. The clear was dry to the touch in three minutes, so they layered it. Looked perfect until the customer washed it a month later and the whole thing spider-webbed. They had to strip and repaint the entire panel. Following the manual without checking your actual shop temp is just asking for a redo.

inI switched from a standard seam roller to a heated one for a big job in Boise
Right tool for the job always beats fighting it, @hugo645.

inShoutout to the guy who told me to use a thermal camera for intermittent faults
Totally wrote off logic probes for years. Grabbed a cheap one to trace a short on a laptop board, and it beeped right at a cracked solder joint. Felt pretty silly for all the time I wasted before.

inA guy at the hardware store in Omaha asked me to find a 'left-handed hammer' with a straight face.
Heard that one's a classic hardware store prank.
