inI was grabbing a coffee at the Remedy Cafe on 109th yesterday and noticed they finally fixed that wobbly table in the corner.
Big deal, it was just a table" - do you really think sentimentality doesn't matter, or is it more about how you just see things differently?

inSpent 3 hours debugging a missing semicolon in my first Python script
Three hours though? Feels like you might be overcomplicating it a bit. A missing semicolon in Python is pretty easy to spot since the error message literally tells you the line number. But I guess if you're switching back and forth between JS and Python it's easy to forget which one uses them. Still, muscle memory stuff like that usually goes away after a week or two of sticking with one language. Not saying it didn't happen but maybe take a breath and look at the error next time before copying everything over.

inPro tip: Stop using thinning shears on curly hair...
Yeah "split ends waiting to happen" is dead on. I had a stylist use thinning shears on my 3b curls once and it took like 6 months to grow out the damage. What actually worked for me was asking for point cutting on dry hair with a razor comb instead. Gave me way more definition and zero fuzz. Plus it lets you keep more length while shaping.

inMy old way of heating up a gather felt like a total waste of gas
Remember that guy who always tried to force his key into the lock by jiggling it like crazy? My buddy did that for a solid two years at his apartment. He just assumed the lock was cheap and finicky. One day his dad visited, took one look, and showed him you had to lift the handle up first, then turn the key smooth. His mind was totally blown. He'd been fighting that thing every single day for no reason.

inSaw a neat trick for sight alignment at the range in Bend
Yeah, the "old army manual" trick is legit. I used to think it was a bit sketchy too, like rodriguez.cora said, until I saw a range safety officer do it with the action open and a cleared gun. It's just for that initial rough sight picture. You still have to do the real zeroing with live fire, but it gets you on paper way faster. That plastic tube trick is basically a poor man's collimator.
