Yeah, it can be really bad, @angela191. A harsh scrub can cause micro-tears and strip your skin barrier, letting in irritants. That's why a flare-up happens, it's your skin freaking out. I learned this the hard way with a gritty walnut scrub years ago. Now I only use chemical exfoliants a couple times a week. Physical scrubs are just too rough for sensitive or acne-prone skin.

Try those little water tubes for each stem.

Oh man, I feel that pain. My last resort is usually a frame splitter, but you have to be so careful not to wreck the frame. That acetone and ATF mix is a classic for a reason, it just takes forever.
