Cut a standard 5-gallon bucket down to about 10 inches with a utility knife. The trick nobody talks about is putting a strip of rubber drawer liner on the bottom. The bumpy mesh kind. That stuff grips tile like crazy even when the bucket is full of water and you're sloshing around. As for tipping, the cut is low enough that the water weight keeps it planted. Never had one tip over on me.

Has anyone else ever gotten that smug look from a family member about their expensive kitchen gear? I used to be one of those people who thought you had to spend big money on an Instant Pot. My sister has the top of the line model and she always bragged about it. Then last year my mom gave me her old cheap one because she upgraded and I was like whatever, I'll use it for beans. But after a few months I realized it cooked everything just as fast and the seal was still tight. Your story about the chili and the worn out gasket really hit home because that's exactly what happened to her fancy one after a year. I think the expensive ones just have more useless buttons and a prettier box.

Gently push back on that BIOS update fear a bit. Look, I get why your client is gunshy after seeing two boards die, but saying never update a BIOS over 5 years old is too broad. Had an old Asus Z97 board from like 2015 that got a security patch last year fixed a nasty sleep state bug. Bricking usually happens when you skip versions or flash from a sketchy USB stick, not from the update itself. Your Dell example proves the point - sometimes those patches actually fix real problems like USB dropout. Just have to read the changelog careful and maybe wait a week to see if other people report issues.
