My professor's note about my handwriting made me ditch the stylus completely
Tbh I used to write everything by hand in Notability with a stylus, but my professor marked my notes as 'unreadable' last semester and suggested I try typing. I switched to a keyboard for lectures and kept the stylus just for diagrams and math. Now I can actually search my notes for keywords and my study time is way faster. Has anyone else gotten feedback that pushed them to change their whole note system?
The part about "searching my notes" is what got me. Typing is great for that, but you're not totally giving up hand writing. You said you kept the stylus for diagrams and math, so it's more like a hybrid system now. That's not really ditching the stylus, it's just using it less. Also, if you're doing math or diagrams, handwriting is still way faster than trying to draw with a keyboard. Sounds like you found a good middle ground, but the title makes it sound like you threw the stylus in a lake or something.
