He showed me the exact lane where she got a strike on their first date. The whole place just felt heavy after that, not just empty.

What's the point of buying new stuff if the old gear still works? I've got a pair of hiking boots that are falling apart but they're like gloves for my feet, @scott.blake. Man, wet lumber is the worst. Buddy of mine tried cutting some fresh treated posts last summer and his circular saw legit shot sparks like a 4th of July show. Turns out the blade was so gummed up with sap and water it was basically welding itself to the wood. Sometimes the tools really are the problem, not the person using them.

Could be a sign of deep focus, not just fun.
