That comb trick would just snag and pull my client's hair.

I used to buy the cheap stuff from the big box store. Then I tried a sample of the good linen from Talas and it was like a whole different material. The way it handles glue and folds without cracking just changed my whole view.

Honestly that sounds like a ton of work. I just hit them with the soapy water spray once and they're usually gone for good.
