My old iPod Classic died in March and a guy at a St. Louis repair cafe said 'let it go' instead of fixing it
I brought my 160GB iPod Classic to a repair cafe on Cherokee Street back in March, and this guy named Dave looked at it for 10 minutes before telling me the drive was toast and I should just get a phone like everyone else. Half of me thinks he was right because parts are impossible to find now, but the other half thinks he just didn't want to mess with it. So where do you all stand: is it worth keeping old players alive with sketchy parts, or should we admit some gadgets are just done? Curious what you'd have told Dave.
