That meal kit subscription that cost me $800 before I caught on

Yeah the "sad bachelor" portion thing hit hard lol. I work 12 hour days sometimes and tried a box service last year. What actually worked for me was splitting the box with a neighbor who also lives alone. We'd each take half the ingredients and both ended up spending way less than grocery delivery for those weeks. Definitely not a win as a single person on your own though.

Finally noticed the difference in my shading after 6 months of drawing practice

Did you take progress photos along the way too?

Feels like nobody learns how to weld panels right anymore

I mean yeah it's annoying but a lot of those civics are just cheap beaters at this point, right? If it's a $1500 car I kinda get why someone would just glob on the filler instead of spending three weekends on it.

Why does nobody talk about how loud a hot swap socket can be when it pops loose?

I mean yeah that's a thing that happens more than people admit. Hot swap sockets can just give out sometimes especially if the PCB flexes even a little bit when you're pulling a switch. It kind of reminds me of how zippers on jackets always fail at the worst possible time not because you abused them but just because they get worn down from normal use. People act like mechanical keyboards are built to last forever but the truth is every part has a breaking point even the stuff that's supposed to be "hot swap" and easy. Idk maybe it's just me but I'd rather solder than deal with that sudden dead keyboard feeling.

Question about a drafting standard I heard from a contractor in Tampa

@calebh90 exactly. Used 1:9 once and got a warning. Follow the book.
