Overheard a guy at the supply house say he never uses torque screwdrivers on breakers

He was picking up a panel in Tacoma and told the counter guy it just slows him down. That's a scary thought, right? I've seen a melted bus bar from a loose connection that probably started that way. How many of you actually torque to spec, or is that guy the norm now?

Why I gave up on detailed recipe pages in my bujo

I see many bullet journal users create elaborate spreads for their meals and cooking ideas. I spent weeks drawing out fancy recipe sections, but it just wasted my time. It did not help me eat better or save money like everyone says. Now I just write plain lists for what to buy and make. This simple way keeps me on track without the extra work.

A pilot friend once explained how they use great circle routes for navigation. Those curved paths are the shortest distance on a sphere, which your ruler test proved. It's a solid way to show how the real world works.

Ever check for that with a sounding hammer first? A solid thunk versus a hollow one can tip you off before you even make a cut. Might have saved you the last-minute rigging scramble.

I finally figured out the mystery of the carved stone in our park after a chat with a local historian.

That park opened in 1972, right? Makes you wonder if some bored teenager with a chisel is responsible for half the so-called ancient finds out there. I'd probably be the expert who gets all excited over a doodle I made myself last Tuesday. The history books would have a whole chapter on my grocery list.
