Shoutout to the bookseller on Corydon Ave who paired a tax guide with a romance novel
Walked past Whodunit? on Corydon Ave in Winnipeg on Saturday and their front window had a weird pair up: a tax prep guide sitting right next to a paperback romance with a ripped shirt guy on the cover. The little handwritten card under them said 'for when he takes 40% and leaves you with a broken heart.' I stood there laughing for a solid minute and went in and bought both. What's the oddest theme pairing you've seen a shop try to pull off?
