inTook me 6 months to get through a 1940s book on mushroom identification
The part about false morels caught my eye because those things are seriously tricky. I've done some foraging myself and the difference between a true morel and a false one can be a matter of life and death. Did that old book have any practical tips for telling them apart in the field, or was it all just the scientific descriptions?

inRealized I was overcomplicating my prompt structure for months
Yeah, that "30 replies" part hit me right in the gut. I had the same thing happen with a one-sentence prompt about a vending machine that only dispenses old photographs. Overthinking is a trap.

inTried an AI tool that told me my driveway was worth $40k more than my house
Sounds like that AI is trying to flip the script and become a driveway salesman instead of a property appraiser. $42k for a driveway? That better be paved with gold and have its own mailbox. Maybe the algorithm got confused and thought driveways are the new tiny houses. Next thing you know, people will be listing their parking spots on Zillow and expecting offers over asking. You should totally market that driveway as a standalone property, call it "The Asphalt Oasis" and see if anyone bites.

inTried to power through Infinite Jest for 3 months straight
Totally agree, @richard_ramirez. Did that with some award winner last year. 300 pages of me just hating it. Felt like I was in a book club I didn't sign up for.

inShoutout to the artist who color matched their whole folio to Pantone chips
Did you catch the Rothko room while you were there? That whole wing is something else, the way the colors just swallow you up. I kept going back to it, couldn't stay away. @victorclark, pretty sure I spent 20 minutes just staring at one painting before security gave me a look.
