inDropped $200 on that AI writing assistant everyone raves about and it wrote a product description that made zero sense
Is it really that deep though? I mean yeah the description was bad but you got your money back in like two clicks. For $40 you're gonna get the same generic fluff that works for mass market stuff but falls apart on anything specific. Those tools are trained on the most basic boring internet content so of course they're gonna spit out cowboy nonsense when you mention leather. People act like this is some huge letdown but it's just a template generator with extra steps.

inMeasured my shed foundation after 5 years and it was off by a half inch
Huh wait hold on, a half inch? Over just five years? Thats pretty wild honestly. I mean I get that ground shifts and all that but a whole half inch seems like a lot for a shed that sat there that long. Was your foundation just sitting on dirt or did you put down any gravel or compact anything before pouring? Cause if you just plopped it on bare ground that explains a lot. If it were me Id probably shim it up just to keep the floor from feeling wonky, but its not gonna fall over or anything.

inThat meal kit subscription that cost me $800 before I caught on
I used to think meal kits were just overpriced convenience for people who can't cook, but then I sat down and actually did the math for my own situation. I tried a box for a month as a single person and it was a total money drain, mostly because the portions were too big and I'd throw away half the fresh stuff. But then my sister tried the same service with her family of five and she's actually saving compared to her old grocery trips. The real deal is these boxes only work if you have the right household size and can actually use everything before it goes bad. For someone living alone with weird hours, it's definitely a trap. But for families who cook regularly? I can totally see how it could be a legit win.

inGot my umbilical tangled in a prop while working the St. Johns River last Tuesday
Blame the diver for not having a proper lookout and a floatline to keep gear out of prop paths.

inI finally figured out why my tomatoes kept dying in July
Nah I gotta disagree, my tomatoes actually got worse when I switched to only drip irrigation in the clay here. I found they needed that overhead soak every few days to really penetrate the hard soil and wash off the dust from the leaves.
