My neighbor said my air fryer chicken was always too dry
I've been using my air fryer for about six months now, mostly for chicken breasts because they're quick. My neighbor Sam tried some last week and was nice about it, but he said, 'It's got good flavor, but it's a bit dry, you know?' He told me he always brines his chicken for at least 30 minutes before cooking. I had never even thought of that. So I tried it with a simple mix of water, salt, and a little sugar. The difference was huge. The chicken came out so much juicier and tender, even after cooking at 400 degrees for 15 minutes. I feel like I unlocked a whole new level with my air fryer. What other simple prep steps have you all found that make a big difference?
