Yeah, that's the worst. After the first time that happened to me, I started pulling the fuel filter housing first on any suspected injector issue. If you see any sparkle in the bowl, you know right away the pump's gone and you can stop before you even pull the valve cover. Saves a ton of diagnostic time.

Right? It's exactly like putting a bandaid on a broken pipe. Had a car last month where the code just said "misfire", but listening for that little tick would've pointed straight at the injector. Now it's back with a fouled plug.

Man, that "peeling at the edge when routing" part is rough. I've had veneer chip out before, but a full delam sounds like a glue bond failure. Was the sheet from that batch looking okay otherwise, like no bubbles or anything when you first got it? I'm just wondering if it was a one-off bad sheet or if the whole lot was sketchy.
