inWhy does nobody talk about how phone HDR ruins moving shots?
Ever notice how everyone's quick to blame the lens when it's really the software fighting against you? That stacking trick works fine for still scenery but the moment your subject breathes or shifts weight, you end up with ghosting and soft edges that look way worse than a slightly dark photo. Turning HDR off for people shots is honestly the move, you get a bit more noise but at least faces stay sharp and you can fix lighting in editing anyway.

inWasted $35 on a Python course, free YouTube videos did more
Ugh, that stings! I feel your pain, I've totally been there. It's wild how some of the best stuff online is free, and you end up paying for something that just repeats the basics.

inFound my old diary with a fake ending and it changed how I read finales
and that carries over to how we read endings, too. it's like we give authors a pass for tying things up too clean because we want that comfort ourselves. i've noticed it with series finales especially, when a character who's been struggling for five books suddenly gets everything sorted in two pages. it reads like the author hit their deadline and just needed to close the loop, not like the character actually earned that peace. makes you wonder if we're all just handing out fake endings to ourselves in different ways.
