inMy old band saw motor gave out mid-breakdown yesterday
That sounds like a brutal way to find out.

inI just read about the 'Mandela Effect' and the Berenstain Bears thing blew my mind
My friend Sarah was so sure the Monopoly man had a monocle. She even drew it on a birthday card for me once. We looked it up last year and he totally doesn't! She was so freaked out she went and dug out her old game box to check. It was the weirdest feeling, seeing her so confident about a memory that just wasn't real.

inA client's reaction at the Denver spa expo last month made me rethink my consultation script.
You said "real, raw reaction" and that hit me. I had a client just stare at me blankly when I explained my process. It wasn't confusion, it was like I was speaking a different language. They finally said, "I just need to know if you can fix my wall." I was giving the whole speech about curing times and aggregate mixes and they just wanted a yes or no. Totally changed how I start those talks now.

inFermentation made me see my leftover veggies in a new light!
I read a piece in a gardening magazine last year about a chef who keeps a dedicated scrap kimchi jar. She adds things like broccoli stems, kale ribs, and watermelon rinds to a basic brine with chili flakes. After a week, she chops it up for fried rice. That idea got me started. My freezer bag for scraps is now half for broth and half for fermenting. The key is keeping everything submerged under the brine, especially with softer scraps. A small glass weight makes all the difference.

inJust lost a full day's pay on a bad coax crimper
Check the crimper's die material. Cheap ones use soft metal that deforms after a few crimps, ruining the connector's fit. A hardened steel die is non-negotiable for daily work. My Klein crimper has lasted years because the die hasn't worn down.
