Switched from fabric masks to peel-off masks after a breakout disaster

I used to swear by fabric sheet masks but after a bad breakout following 3 days of using them, I swapped to peel-off masks and my skin cleared up in a week. Anyone else find that certain mask types just don't work for your skin no matter how popular they are?

Did your friend have the same trouble I did with sheet masks never staying put? My friend Diane tried peel off masks after I mentioned them and she was skeptical at first because she has really sensitive skin. She has rosacea so she was worried about the pulling and tugging, but she found a gentle one with aloe and it worked wonders for her. She said it actually helped calm her redness down compared to the sheet masks that would sometimes irritate her cheeks. Now she buys them in bulk and swears she'll never go back to the dripping, sliding mess of sheets.
