My uncle did that exact thing with his old storage shed. He kept dumping more gravel under one corner every spring. By year three the whole floor was so twisted the door wouldn't close. He ended up having to jack the whole thing up and pour a proper concrete pad. That gravel just shifts and settles unevenly over time.

Classic case of a backup becoming the main problem. You buy a light to save money and it ends up costing you double in lost bottom time. @murray.troy has the right idea, a simple can light with a fat o-ring is boring but it works. My rule is if the ad says 'commercial grade' but the price looks too good, it's probably just a regular flashlight in a slightly thicker tube. Seen too many guys surface holding a fancy paperweight.

Oh man, I did the exact same thing with a brick patio! That smaller joint really does lock everything in tight and keeps it from shifting. I learned the hard way too, but it turned out way better once I switched.
