inTook apart a Pentax K1000 and found a dead spider inside the prism housing
My buddy found a whole moth once inside an old Minolta. It was like the camera became its own little tomb or something... creepy but kind of cool.

inI finally had a boom go rogue on a job in downtown Austin last month
Downtown Austin is brutal for that, I had a buddy lose a whole skid of sheet metal off a 7th floor last year on Congress Avenue. The weird thing nobody talks about is how the buildings themselves create these wind tunnels that can change direction in seconds. I've started using a portable wind meter on site and checking the forecast for gusts over 25mph before I even hook up. Makes a huge difference when you can call a delay instead of fighting it blind.

inThat cloud that looked like my mom yelling at me
and that cloud turning into your dad's judgemental face is actually reminding me of something that happened to my friend Jenna last week. she was sitting at a stoplight and saw this cloud that looked exactly like her ex boyfriend's smug grin from when he told her her cooking was "interesting." she told me she wanted to flip the cloud off but realized that would look insane to the people in the car next to her. @rivera.keith its like the universe picks the worst possible moments to show off its cloud sculpting skills, right when you're least expecting it. i swear clouds are just the sky's version of a passive aggressive meme generator.

inTried welding with straight flux-core on a project last month in Phoenix
yeah but were you running the polarity right? I see so many guys just swap the wire and leave it on DC positive for solid wire and then wonder why flux core spits all over. That might be part of why you saw better penetration. What thickness metal were you on?

inMy kitchen disaster turned into a pretty cool herb planter last week
Whoa, wait, you glued it back together and just left a gap at the top? That's brilliant but also sounds like it could totally fall apart! I'm mostly shocked you didn't just toss it out the second it broke, most people would. But hey, if it's holding basil then it's holding basil, right? I tried this once with a chipped teacup and used regular super glue, it lasted maybe two weeks before the soil got too heavy and it split again. I bet that rock layer you did is key, keeps the glue from getting too wet.
