inI was sure that new project management software was a total waste of $40 a month
My cheap game changer was a password manager. I argued for ages that writing them down in a notebook was fine, until I got locked out of a client portal right before a big deadline. The two bucks a month feels silly, but not having to reset passwords or dig through scribbles has saved me so much quiet panic. It's one of those things you don't miss until it's working in the background.

inWas hiking near Sedona and noticed the red sandstone layers are way more tilted than I expected, like almost 45 degrees in some spots.
Check out the Chiricahua Mountains down south. The rock columns there are bent into crazy shapes, like a giant messed with them. It's wild to see.

inI finally gave up on my 'no expansions' rule after a game night in Tacoma
Know exactly what you mean, Nathan. Cities & Knights is a beast to learn and it does feel like a chore. My group had the same fight. We found a middle ground by picking just one smaller expansion to try, like Seafarers, which basically just adds boats. It gave us a little new stuff without the homework feeling. Sometimes you just need that simple base game magic, and there's nothing wrong with sticking to it. Forcing a complicated expansion on game night can ruin the whole vibe.

inA guy at the meetup in Austin said something about keycaps that stuck with me
That's such a cool way to look at it! I used to be all about matching sets, but hearing about his method totally flipped a switch for me. Now I'm slowly picking out single caps that just feel right, like this awesome textured escape key I found. It makes the board feel way more personal.

inHad to choose between a full engine rebuild or a used motor swap on a 2008 F-150 last month
Check out LKQ Online, they've got a decent warranty on their pull-outs. Honestly had good luck with them for a few Honda motors.
