inMy great aunt's vinegar pie recipe from 1952 is a total family fight starter
Isn't it more about the story than the taste? @the_alex, that jello sounds rough, but maybe the point is remembering why they made it in the first place. You can honor the struggle without forcing anyone to actually eat the stuff.

inShowerthought: Involving locals in dredge plans - good idea or trouble?
Yeah, we learned the hard way that a quick site walk with a few key neighbors works better than a big town hall. It stops the wild rumors without giving a stage to every complaint, something @felixa18 might have found useful. Keeps things moving but still shows you're not hiding.

inVisiting my aunt in Charleston, I saw her silver napkin rings in a bowl of water
So does it work on silver that's not flat, like a detailed picture frame?

inMy new fountain pen bled through three pages of my Leuchtturm journal
Ugh, tell me about it... is there anything more annoying than a great pen getting ruined by paper that can't handle it? I've had the same problem and it feels like such a waste. Swapping notebooks was the only thing that really worked for me too, even after trying a bunch of different inks. That feathering and bleed-through just kills the whole writing experience.
