Finally tried that 'coffee ground' trick for hiding dents in cherry wood and it actually worked on a 1920s sideboard I was ready to write off.
I was super skeptical because it sounded like a kitchen hack, but after mixing some fine grounds with a dab of shellac and working it into the grain, the color match was perfect and the client couldn't even spot the repair... has anyone else had luck with weird household items for touch-ups?
