Oh man, my buddy had that exact soggy liner problem with his wings. He actually tried @nathanbailey's hole-poking trick with parchment last time, and said it helped a lot with the grease. I mean, you still have to toss the paper, but at least the food gets crispy.

Yeah but is it really that much faster once you factor in setup and cleanup? Jigsaw you just grab and go, no need to mess with a track or worry about the blade drifting. I've seen guys spend 15 minutes getting a circular saw dialed in for a cut that takes 30 seconds. Plus with a jigsaw you can actually see the line, track saws you're always guessing unless you've got a laser guide. Not saying it's not a good tool, just that the speed difference isn't as dramatic as people make it sound for most basic cuts.

Catan with four is actually the sweet spot (the board gets way more competitive). Three players leaves too much open space and the robber just camps on whoever's winning. Four forces everyone to actually negotiate and block each other instead of just building in their own corner.

Rented a demo hammer too. Worth every penny for that one hole.

Honestly, it's just a book. Maybe take a week off and talk about something less stressful next time.
