inTried two different ways to pack a tricky glass tabletop last month
hoped for the best" lol that's the part that got me. You can't just hope with glass, it's gonna lose every time. Spending 45 minutes to definitely save the item is a no brainer. The blanket crew basically gambled your $700 table. I'd be so mad if that was my stuff. The extra time is always worth it for anything that can't just be replaced easy.

inHad a nav system on a King Air 200 in Boise just start spitting out random altitude data during pre-flight.
Man, I used to think those tiny connector issues were just ghost stories. Had a similar thing with a flap position sensor last year. The readings would jump around only in a left turn. Spent a whole afternoon looking at the sensor itself and the control box. Turns out it was just a slightly loose cannon plug at the wing root. Felt like a total idiot, but now I check every single connector first.

inMy brother pointed out a detail I'd missed at the old Northgate Galleria
Found a half-finished crossword in a pencil cup at the old video rental place they turned into a gym. It’s like you said, the small stuff shows where real life just stopped. Makes me wonder what I’m walking past every day without seeing.

inHot take: you don't need a 3D printer for armor, I built a full Mandalorian chest plate from a $5 yoga mat and a heat gun.
Saw a tutorial where someone used old floor mats for armor.

inI finally stopped using a regular comb for detangling wet hair after a color service.
Oh so we're all just supposed to have perfectly detangled hair before we even get in the shower now? Thanks for the tip, @christophermorgan. My hair is a tangled mess the second I wake up. Trying to comb it dry would just snap it all off. The wet brush in the shower with conditioner works for me because the slip actually helps. Guess my hair didn't get the memo about the new rules.
