inPro tip: I started using old plastic bottles as mini greenhouses for my seedlings
How do you handle the bottles on really sunny days? I've heard they can cook the seedlings if it gets too hot inside, so I'm curious if you've had to move them into shade or if the open cap is enough to stop that.

inJust found out that some 19th century blacksmiths in Pittsburgh were paid partly in company scrip redeemable only at the company store. Read it in an old union history pamphlet at the library.
The Homestead strike records show some of those company stores actually had fair prices compared to town. The scrip system was more about keeping cash in the company for payroll.

inMy entire basil harvest got fried in one afternoon
Terracotta pots bake the roots in that heat. Plastic holds moisture better for hot climates. Shade cloth is a good move, but the pot material is half the battle.

inPro tip: Check the old food court for the best light
Kinda depends on the spot though, @michael_baker. Some places feel more like they're just collecting dust than holding onto anything good. Maybe it's just me but that token sounds cooler than most of what gets left behind.
