inA rainy night in Seattle taught me to always check the grounds first
True, connectors are a huge weak spot. What's the most common failure you see, corrosion or just loose fittings? I've had more than a few problems that looked like a ground but were actually a connector halfway down the line that looked fine until you wiggled it. Makes troubleshooting a real pain.

inPeople are still paying full price for streaming services and it's a huge waste
Honestly, the creepiest part is how they design the whole sign-up flow to be a one-click thing, but bury the cancel button... I had to google how to cancel one service because the option just wasn't in my account settings. They count on that friction to keep you paying.

inI found a cool fossil in a crumbling cliff face
I used to hunt for trilobites in the shale beds around Lake Michigan. I mean, I thought erosion was just nature's way of showing us cool things. But after reading about how fast the Jurassic Coast in England is eroding, it changed my view. Maybe it's just me, but seeing those cliffs fall into the sea makes you think about what we're losing.
