inBrought a budget stew to a potluck and got the best compliment
Remember my buddy made a cheap chili for a block party. The neighbor with the fancy grill went back for thirds. He was shocked it was just beans and canned tomatoes.

inWarning: A static shock killed a motherboard during a RAM swap
Yeah that "harsh lesson" is so real... I once killed a GPU just by touching the backplate after walking across carpet. Now I keep a cheap wrist strap clipped to my case frame whenever I'm building.

inJust nailed using lift bags on a salvage job
In military salvage ops, we'd often track time as a secondary metric. It's not the only thing, but when your gauges fog up or fail, that count in your head keeps you from panicking. Adapting for depth or bag size is basic dive math, not rocket science. Honestly, dismissing any tool because it's simple seems more risky to me. But hey, maybe I'm just too attached to not drowning.

inSetting grids first cleaned up my drafting mess
My buddy Mark had the same issue with his sketches until he started using a ruler first for all his big lines. His work got way cleaner almost overnight.
