Overheard a senior drafter say 'your pencil grip is why your lines wobble'

Was at a coffee shop last Tuesday and caught a guy telling a younger drafter that the way they held their pencil was making their straight lines come out shaky. I always thought wobble was a steadiness thing, not a grip problem. Tried switching to a tripod grip on my last set of floor plans and my lines came out way cleaner. Anyone else find that changing your pencil hold made a big difference?

I always thought sticky notes were just for offices until I misplaced my page for the third time in one chapter. Why I ditched my stovetop popcorn for the air fryer

I used to make popcorn in a big pot with oil on the stove, shaking it like crazy for 5 minutes. Then I tried putting 1/4 cup of kernels in my air fryer at 400F for 10 minutes with a spritz of oil and it came out PERFECT with no burnt bits. Has anyone else found random snacks that work WAY better in the air fryer than the old way?

The security guard who told me to never go in through the old food court entrance

Ran into an old security guard outside the dead mall in Huntsville last month. He said the food court entrance was the worst way in because the floor was rotted out near the old Orange Julius. I laughed it off and went in that way anyway. Fell through some plywood right into the old prep area and twisted my ankle. Now I always listen to the guys who worked there back when it was still open. Anyone else get bad advice from someone who actually knew a place but you ignored them anyways?

I finally stopped using a regular comb for detangling wet hair after a color service.

Switched to a wide tooth Wet Brush about 3 months ago. Used to just grab whatever was clean. Saw way less breakage on my last three clients with long hair. The bristles give more than a standard comb. Anyone have a different detangling tool they swear by?
