My cat used to ignore every toy I bought until I tried a piece of string.

For about a year, I kept buying those fancy plastic toys from the pet store, and she would just walk away. Last Tuesday, I was tying up a box and she went crazy for the twine. Do you think some cats just prefer simple, moving things over store-bought stuff?

Mine's the same with a crumpled receipt.

My car's passenger seat has a whole collection of them. I mean, I cleaned it out last week and found three receipts from the same gas station, all from March. It's like a weird little time capsule of small purchases.
