inJust realized my old sand ramming method was actually better for our small batch patterns.
Honestly, I got way faster results when I switched to the new version lol.

inSpent $800 on a 'professional' knife sharpening system that's worse than my old stones
The diamond plate trick @janawells mentioned is great for speed, but it can leave a rougher edge than a stone. That might not matter for some tasks, but it can tear up softer foods like tomatoes. It's a trade-off between a fast fix and a really clean cut.

inMy old greenhouse heater gave up the ghost during that cold snap in February
Is it really that big of a deal though? A week in the laundry room with some lights sounds like it worked fine. Most of those plants can handle a chill for a night. I've had my heater die and just threw a blanket over the shelf for a night, everything was fine. Sometimes we overthink this stuff.

inAm I the only one who quit buying coffee out when prices shot up?
Ugh, that reminds me of the bus station coffee I tried last year. It cost like three bucks and honestly tasted like watery dirt. I mean, idk what they did to it, but it was so bitter I could only take one sip. Maybe it's just me, but now I keep a cheap travel mug in my car at all times. That one awful cup really showed me how even small changes can save you from bad drinks.
