inA client's home office setup in Boise made me rethink my whole approach to dust
That "losing battle against the air flow" is so real. I had a client with constant overheating issues, and it turned out their tower was shoved in a little cubby under the desk with a solid back panel. Moved it out just six inches so the back exhaust could actually breathe, and the problem vanished.

inI thought the 'mall smell' was just nostalgia until I visited the old Northgate Plaza
Always figured it was just old food court grease, but that makes way more sense.

inI used to think I had to get every pin out with a hammer and punch
That Kroil trick is a lifesaver. What's the most stubborn gun part you've ever had to deal with, even with the right stuff?

inHeads up: Finger numbness can sneak up on you during delicate repairs.
Oh man, I feel that. I started getting that weird thumb numbness while building models last year. What finally helped me was doing those wrist stretches every hour, like bending my hand back gently. I also raised my keyboard a bit so my wrists weren't bent up all the time. It took a few weeks of being really strict about it, but the tingling mostly went away. Dropping those tiny parts is the worst wake up call.

inSerious question, a weird power supply issue ate up my whole afternoon yesterday.
Ugh, that's just how it goes with custom builds. Honestly, spending hours on a tiny bent pin is part of the process and totally normal. You can't expect it to be easy every time.
