I used to think I had to get every pin out with a hammer and punch
Was working on an old Winchester 94 last week, the one with the crossbolt safety. Spent like an hour trying to tap out a stubborn pin, getting more frustrated by the minute. My buddy Mike, who's been at this since the 80s, just walked over, grabbed my can of Kroil, and said 'Let it sit for five minutes, kid.' The pin slid out with finger pressure. Felt like a total idiot lol. Anyone else have a 'why didn't I think of that' moment with a stubborn part?

Remember watching my dad fight a seized choke tube on his old Mossberg for a whole weekend. He finally warmed the barrel with a hair dryer for a minute and it just unscrewed.

My old man swore by WD-40 for everything, but a stuck sear spring on a 10/22 finally made me try Kroil.

That Kroil trick is a lifesaver. What's the most stubborn gun part you've ever had to deal with, even with the right stuff?
