I could either try to fish wire through those walls for days, or go with a wireless panel and sensors. I picked wireless, a Qolsys panel, and it took me two days instead of a week. The range was solid, even on the third floor. Honestly, I was nervous it would be flaky, but that system is still running today. Anyone else have a retrofit that pushed you to switch your usual method?
