inPSA: Messing with film for star pictures back then taught me about color in a way that still helps with my digital work.
Honestly, I see it the other way around. The biggest carryover for me is how film makes you slow down and plan every shot. You only get a few tries on each roll, so you learn to wait for the right moment. That taught me more about framing and patience than any color lesson. Digital lets you shoot without thinking, which can hurt your skills. The discipline of limited shots stuck with me way more than color relationships. Do you find the mental approach changes how you shoot now?
