inMy debt snowball took 14 months longer than Dave Ramsey says it should
Are you sure about that, though? I mean, $4,200 is a lot of money, but pausing the snowball completely seems risky to me. If you stop making payments on your smallest debt for three months, you lose all that momentum you built up. It's like starting over from scratch, and that can be really discouraging. Lowering the payments but still sending something, even if it's just $25, keeps the habit alive and the balance moving down. That way, when the repair is paid off, you're not staring at a pile of interest that grew while you weren't looking.

inTried caulking my shower with that expensive 100% silicone and it's already peeling
Yeah that GE stuff is solid but sounds like the surface wasn't dry enough before you applied it.

inWatch out for those "collector" books at estate sales - got burned last month
Have you ever noticed that some reprints actually have a following all their own, separate from the first edition crowd? I mean, there are collectors who specifically hunt for certain reprint series because they know the paper quality or the binding was better than anything else from that era. It is a whole different market, really. The smell thing is real, though. I have a few older books and that mildew odor just seeps into everything near it on the shelf. You end up having to toss the whole section sometimes.

inI wasted a full month of my bullet journal trying to make it perfect
Twenty-two brand new journals sitting on my shelf say I feel your pain. But @riley_king16, I have to ask, is it really that serious that a smudged line makes your whole brain feel messy? A bullet journal is just a notebook, not a sacred artifact, and if you can't scribble out a mistake without losing your mind you're turning a tool into a boss.

inMy cat finally slept through the night after 3 months of 4am wake-up calls
Gotta love how fixing one little thing like a feeder can totally change your daily flow, it's wild how much small adjustments ripple out into everything else you do.
