That $60 'collector's edition' cover art was just a blurry JPEG blown up

Bought it online last month for the painted dragon cover, but once it arrived the image was so pixelated you could count the squares, anyone else get burned by a book cover that looked sharp on screen but turned to mush in print?

Blurry JPEG blown up? Man, you knew it was a gamble the second you hit checkout. A painted dragon on a screen is a red flag these days, every publisher recycles the same stock art. You're mad about pixel squares on a cover you're gonna toss on a shelf and forget exists by next week. The story inside is the same either way, that's what you paid for. If the art was the whole reason you bought it, then yeah, you got played, but let's not pretend this is some huge scam. Return it if it bugs you that much, most places are chill about that. Otherwise, put it face down and move on.

Dig deeper though, how much of your book-buying is actually about the art vs. the blurb? Be honest, do you even glance at the cover once you're past the first few chapters?
