Just realized how much my diet affects my focus on safety checks
I skipped breakfast yesterday and almost didn't spot a loose wire during an inspection... It scared me how eating can change my focus. Any quick meal tips for busy days?

Oh wow, my buddy Chris once skipped breakfast before a long drive and ended up so spacey he tried to unlock his car with his house key for like five minutes straight! He was so hungry his brain just stopped working right. We had to pull over and get him some orange juice before he could function again. It was like his blood sugar crashed so hard he turned into a confused robot or something. Never seen someone so out of it from missing one meal!

My buddy Dave and I went hiking last fall without eating first... about an hour in, I got so dizzy I almost walked right off the trail. Dave tried to read the map but kept pointing to the wrong peaks, his brain was just fried. I used to skip meals all the time and thought people were just being dramatic about low blood sugar. That day showed me how real it is... your thinking gets slow and you make dumb mistakes. Now I never head out without some nuts or a banana in my pocket. It really changed how I see eating before doing anything active.
