Overheard a guy at the bus stop say "If you can't change your mind, you're not using it" and it hit me weird

Wait, but isn't changing your mind sometimes just giving in to bad pressure? I've had times where I stuck to my guns on something and it turned out RIGHT, you know? Like a job decision I made that everyone told me was dumb but I KNEW it would work out.
Sometimes holding your ground shows you're actually using your brain, not just flipping sides to look smart. Changing your mind can be smart, but so can staying steady when you've thought it through.

Hell yeah @evaperez, you're totally right! I had a buddy talk me into sticking with a contractor who was a total mess, but I knew he'd come through in the end and he did. Sometimes you just gotta trust your gut, you know?
