I just hit 200 failed login attempts on my router in one day

I checked my router logs yesterday and saw 200 failed login attempts in just 24 hours. Turned out my admin interface was exposed to the internet without me knowing. I had no idea bots were scanning for open ports that fast. Changed the default port and turned off remote access right away. Has anyone else checked their router logs lately? It might be worth a look.

Hackers love fishing for easy targets but unless they're specifically after you it's mostly just noise. Turning off remote access is smart but I wouldn't lose sleep over it.

Used to think router security was something you only had to worry about if you were running a business or something. Then I checked my logs a few months back and saw over 150 hits in a single afternoon. Changed the default port to something random and disabled WAN admin access completely. Haven't seen a single failed attempt since. It's wild how fast those port scanners find you.
