Shoutout to the guy at the UFO meetup who brought a toaster as 'proof'

Last Saturday in Portland, some dude stood up at a local conspiracy meetup and claimed his toaster received alien signals every morning at 6:15. He held it up real serious while crumbs fell out of the slots. Has anyone else seen 'evidence' that made you laugh more than it convinced you?

Gotta push back a little on this, man. I mean, yeah the toaster thing sounds goofy on the surface, but maybe the guy just isn't great at explaining himself. Like, what if it's not the toaster itself but the electrical interference or something that happens at that exact time each day? I've seen people bring way weirder stuff to meetups, like a rock they swear is a GPS from aliens or a fuzzy photo of a light in the sky. At least a toaster is a real object you can actually touch and examine, you know? Idk, I'd rather hear someone try to connect their weird morning toast ritual to something bigger than just stare at a blurry picture of a cloud.

That toaster has seen more action than half the members at that meetup.

That electrical interference angle @hayden720 mentioned actually makes sense if the toaster has a clock radio built in or something. Plenty of old appliances pick up random radio frequencies at certain times of day. The guy probably heard a truck backing up or a ham radio operator and thought it was aliens.

Wait, are we really getting worked up over a toaster now? I mean, the guy held up a dusty appliance with crumbs falling out and said it gets alien signals at 6:15 in the morning. That's not a deep theory, that's just a malfunctioning kitchen gadget with a loud timer. And yeah, I get what people are saying about electrical interference or whatever, but that still doesn't make the toaster "proof" of anything except that the guy needs a new coffee maker. Let's not pretend a crumb-covered toaster is some profound piece of evidence when it's probably just picking up a radio station from next door.
