Hot take: ignoring the parking ratio on that Dallas strip center was a dumb move
I rushed into a lease at a plaza with 3.5 spots per 1,000 sq ft because the rent was cheap. Turns out the lunch crowd overflowed into the neighboring lot and the landlord started towing customers. Has anyone else gotten burned by skimpy parking counts on a deal?

Oh man, I totally get that. I started doing the same thing after a few times where I showed up to a busy lot and had to circle for 20 minutes just to give up and park in a garage miles away. For me, the trick was to use the city's parking app to see live counts before I even leave the house. It's saved me so much stress, honestly. I also keep a couple backup lots in mind just in case the main one is full. Sometimes I'll even check mid-route if I know it's a busy day. It's one of those little habits that just makes everything smoother.
